Our baby Sandy drinks water in one of our watering holes enjoyingly. He was one of our easiest rescues but the saddest and most tragic.😢 The local Shorobe community alerted us about a baby elephant wandering near Gomoti River Lodge. We found him near his mother’s body; she had been killed. Sandy was thin, malnourished, and dehydrated. After surviving a lion attack, our vet treated his wounds, and he's healing well.
