Here I’m in the process of blocking a sinamay crown on the bias. I’ve used a dome crown block and cut 4 squares of sinamay on the straight. My squares measure 12 inches. This will be is a shallow crown base that is suitable for a fascinator or saucer design. Once you have blocked your crown you can customize it to any design.
