Earlier this afternoon deputies assisted Minnesota State Patrol with a serious injury crash on Highway 8. The highway was shut down for approximately 2 hours while emergency crews worked the scene. A huge thanks to the witnesses and passing motorists that stopped to help. Without them the situation would have likely ended much worse.
