This week we are focusing on the heart of the Burleigh making process, decorating. Whilst every single step of the process is super important. It is the iconic decoration technique we use which helps to form the DNA of what make’s Burleigh ware so recognisable. ‘Underglaze tissue transfer printing’ is a very special method, and is only practiced right here in our factory, truly unique to Burleigh for some years. The outcome is ‘transfer ware’ which is durable, beautiful and the handcrafted natur
