As a scuba diver, this should serve as a PSA for all people who dive with contact lenses on. Acanthamoeba is a free-living amoeba found in soil and water especially freshwater. Be careful! I often clear my goggles underwater, but I try not to do this too often, especially in freshwater and tropical areas. You’re probably fine in the ocean albeit Vibrio and Pseudomonas are a problem here; but be very careful freshwater diving. Try to come up to air to clear out your goggles/USE ANTI FOG RIGOROUSL
