👀🏗 It was a sight to behold as two huge cranes lifted a 40m gangway into the Pioneer River this morning, connecting the fishing pier with the new floating pontoon. The floating pontoon, at the end of Brisbane Street near the Bluewater Quay, is part of the Mackay Waterfront Priority Development Area’s Riverside Revitalisation project. 📆 Tenders are open now on QTender, until February 27, for anyone interested in running a commercial operation from the pontoon.
