The United States’s most northerly city, Utqiagvik, saw its last sunrise for more than two months on Sunday, May 10. Timelapse footage released by the National Weather Service (NWS) shows the sun set at 1:48 am before it rose above the horizon at 2:57 am. The sun won’t set again for 84 days until August 2.
