As Snohomish River levels have risen this week, our Drone as a First Responder (DFR) program has played an important role in Everett's emergency preparedness and response. The DFR program is currently still being onboarded, and only two locations have been outfitted with drone "garages." One of the locations is in north Everett, and our team was able to launch and reach the river area in under two minutes after Public Works requested an aerial assessment.
