Chief of Army Staff Asim Munir held a ceremony for Olympic champion Arshad Nadeem and his family for the athlete's record-breaking achievement which landed him a gold medal– the first for Pakistan after 40 years. Arshad Nadeem made history at Paris Olympics 2024 after his javelin throw set a new record at 92.97m. The army chief also awarded other Olympic athletes for their performance at the Paris Olympics.
