A lot of the veneer on this depression era dresser was already missing and what was left was barely hanging on. I scraped off what I could and then used a wet rag and an old iron to steam off the rest from the top and drawer fronts. After sanding everything smooth, and filling in a few dents, I primed the whole thing to create consistent base for my paint.
