This morning WIRE team members joined the final leg of the Yoorrook Justice Commission’s ‘Walk for Truth’. This cause has seen Yoorrook Deputy Chair Commissioner Travis Lovett, Kerrupmara Gunditjmara, walk from Portland to Parliament to raise awareness of Victoria’s first formal truth-telling process. We heard a powerful speech from Travis Lovett about the resistance of First Nation’s People, and the importance of documenting the lived experience of First Nations Peoples. Put very eloquently by
