British guy orders beer in The Netherlands | Double Dutch

The National Beer Survey 2025 shows that 41 percent of Dutch beer drinkers sometimes travel to Belgium or Germany to buy cheaper beer, driven by higher Dutch excise duties. Brewers warn that restaurants and bars are losing customers and could struggle to survive. Beer remains widely popular, and non-alcoholic and craft beers continue to rise thanks to better taste and growing variety.
