What’s going on down below? 🙃 Sometimes, you might spot the Atlantic harbor seals getting a bit of a different perspective on things. Because a seal’s eyes are on the top of their head, swimming upside down gives them a better view of their surroundings. In the wild, this “hunt swim” or “scanning” helps them keep watch for predators or search for fish to eat. Here at the Aquarium, they’re engaging in a natural behavior by checking out what’s happening below—and outside!—the exhibit. Next time y
