August 1960, our guys' first TV performance. *Time Is Passing by was written by Sir Barry Gibb in 1959 when he was 12 years old. It was the first song performed by the Bee Gees on television. It had been two years since they had emigrated to Australia with their parents. It was performed by Sir Barry(13) on guitar and Robin & Maurice(10) singing live before a studio audience.
