I have Zillow emails set up from my regular email to see how certain things look as a consumer and I just received one of the “Listing Showcase” messages. I was extremely impressed with the whole thing and it’s clearly set up to prominently display the listing agent’s information which I’m obviously a fan of.

May 13, 2023 · I especially like, from the tenant's perspective, Zillow's charging only $29 for unlimited applications and including a background check. That seems like a very fair price to me. My only real criticism of Zillow is that their online payment collection system can't support dividing the rent up amongst multiple housemates.

My rental's zillow price history is cluttered with multiple line items like this below. Feb 5, 2023 · Zillow uses a failed market value algorithm, this is evidenced by their failure as a company and their enormous loses on their flip portfolio. Apparently their model was pretty accurate. Their losses came from the fact that they needed to sweeten all of their deals to actually convince people to sell.

Aug 13, 2021 · Zillow has lost ALL credibility concerning this issue. Redfin is the new go-to for viewing historical listing information. Zillow allows data to "disappear". Do not use Zillow, if you're looking to buy, sell, list or whatever do not trust Zillow. When Zillow responds to these concerns they blame "public information" from county websites.

Jan 3, 2023 · As I understand it Zillow charges $30 for tenants to fill out an application. I think the credit/background check is applicable for multiple houses and up to 30 days, and not just a one-time use, so requiring it before showing your house isn't asking too much. They can use the same applicaiton for any Zillow listed house they apply for.

What are good German versions of Zillow or Redfin? I wanted to browse houses in Germany and found the first google page to produce terrible sites with old run down houses at very high prices or stuff that's like over 10 million euro with only computerized images.
