The St. John’s 2025 Canada Games Host Society proudly announced Fortis Inc. as the first major sponsor of the 2025 Canada Summer Games. As part of the partnership, the name of the new flagship facility was also unveiled as the Fortis Canada Games Complex.

The Canada Games represent the highest level of national competition for up and coming Canadian athletes

Since our inaugural event in 1967, the Games have been held in every province at least twice, and now include participation from all 10 provinces and three territories who come together to compete in the Canada Games every two years.

Sep 29, 2022 · The Canada Games Council is pleased to announce the provinces and territories currently exploring the opportunity to host the Canada Games in the fourth hosting rotation model, from 2031 to 2037, as part of a new hosting rotation model adopted by the Federal/Provincial-Territorial Governments.

From February 18 – March 5, 2023, the Canada Games will bring together 3,600 athletes, managers, and coaches, across 20 different sports, for the largest multi-sport event in the country. Get your tickets!
