Apr 6, 2024 · Considering v12 FSD has been ironed out using footage from Model 3s and Model Ys (Model S users complaining about close curbs) it would seem unlikely Tesla would initiate its robotaxi service with an unproven design that maybe …

Apr 6, 2024 · I feel like that would limit the robotaxis value for a lot of people. Also, it would likely need a steering wheel and pedals for regulatory reasons even if Tesla did achieve eyes-off capability. So I think this is concept art for a hypothetical 2 seater, cheap Tesla, not a robotaxi. Could the robotaxi look more like this concept art but smaller?

Apr 6, 2024 · Let’s isolate the Cybercabs that will be on the roads in Austin, TX. Say Tesla also isolates that data. The issue remains that the data will be used by Tesla to argue that unsupervised FSD is ready for the masses or even just to convince other cities to allow Cybercab fleets, but the data will only back that up because they will have been on routes where …

Apr 6, 2024 · That is a fallacy. A human driver drives max 12-16 hours a day, but a robo-taxi would drive 24h a day. Assuming there is more demand (due to lower prices and better conveniency, optimized JIT routing to expected demand areas to better meet demand) the miles driven would be higher per hour and mo

May 14, 2019 · It seems like Tesla would have to go back to zero in terms of its charging network and give up an incredible competitive advantage with the supercharging network. Also, the low cost under $30,000 model should have a variant with a steering wheel and charge port for people who do not wanna engage in the Robotaxi service.
