FRANKFORT, Ky. — The death toll from last month's severe weather in Kentucky has risen to 20, according to Gov. Andy Beshear.
Gov. Andy Beshear confirmed a 20th death on Thursday related to the May 16-17 severe storms that struck Kentucky. According to Beshear, a McCracken County man was the 20th weather-related death.
The governor initially reported 19 deaths from the storms, but announced on Thursday that a man from McCracken County died.
