Dylan Vincent, 12, ran to join his friends at Seagoville Middle School on Tuesday morning, a welcome reunion after summer break. It was the first day of middle school for the seventh grader, which brought with it the uncertainties of a bigger campus and the challenges of new subjects.

TEXARKANA, Texas – It's back to school for students at Texarkana, Texas ISD. Parks Elementary School opened for the first time on Wednesday, welcoming more than 800 students in its first year. The new Parks Elementary School combines students from Spring Lake Park and Highland Park. It's located in the 1900 block of Pine Street.
