North Texas will see a slight reprieve from the heat this weekend as storms roll in. It’s been a scorcher of a week for the Metroplex as the region finally recorded its first 100-degree day of the year on July 29. Triple-digit heat continued on the following two days, including 104 degrees on July 31.

Multiple rounds of storms are expected over the weekend, with temperatures staying below normal for early August.
