The NBA postponed the Los Angeles Lakers’ home game against the Charlotte Hornets on Thursday with several massive wildfires burning across the greater Los Angeles area. It was the second straight day a game slated to be played in downtown Los Angeles was postponed.

"Obviously the game is secondary to that and to many things in life. Perspective is important," Warriors coach Steve Kerr said of the fires.

Leonard, who bought a house in Pacific Palisades in 2021, was set to play in his third game of the season on Wednesday night in Denver.
