With the NBA offseason about to begin, the San Antonio Spurs are going to be a major team to keep an eye on. Already, they have been connected as a potential trade suitor for Phoenix Suns superstar Kevin Durant and potentially for Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo if they make him available.

With the trade rumors around Jonathan Kuminga, the latest reporting suggests that any movement there has halted because of Kevin Durant.

In early February, the Phoenix Suns attempted to trade Kevin Durant to the Golden State Warriors without his knowledge. He eventually got wind of the negotiations and squashed the deal, but the writing was on the wall at that point.
