The deaths of a man and woman in a Hughson home over the weekend are being investigated as a murder-suicide, according to the Modesto Police Department.

The 33-year-old Sacramento man was pronounced dead along Dixieanne Avenue after police officers responded to reports of an unconscious man on the road.

Emergency medical services were dispatched around 7:59 a.m. to Bollenbacher Avenue near the intersection of Bell Avenue.
