After losing both of their coordinators to head coaching jobs last week, the Detroit Lions have begun the process of re-filling out their staff. According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Mike Garofolo,

The Detroit Lions have gone through a brain drain within the coaching staff in the aftermath of their season-ending loss to the Washington Commanders in the divisional round. Since that defeat, Ben Johnson has been hired as the head coach of the Chicago Bears and Aaron Glenn has inked a deal to lead the New York Jets,

New York hired Glenn, most recently the Detroit Lions defensive coordinator, as their next head coach, ahead of his scheduled in-person interview with New Orleans. It’s a five-year deal, according to league sources.
