Emphatic objections have been raised to plans for 450 new homes in a village near Witney, with one local "devastated" by the proposal.

To date, the council has received more than 490 letters objecting to the proposed development. People have expressed concerns over its ‘disproportionate’ size and the merging of two distinct villages.
