The National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) is reviewing how it deals with serious medical incidents on the field following Angel City FC defender Savy King’s collapse during a game on Friday against Utah Royals.

The NWSL Players Association said that play should have been stopped in the game between Angel City FC and the Utah Royals on Friday following the nearly 10-minute delay to provide medical attention to Savy King.
