Homicide detectives have taken over the investigation into the death of a woman in south Sacramento over the weekend.

Homicide detectives are investigating the death of a woman found wounded Sunday afternoon in a Sacramento home. About 3:45 p.m., officers responded to reports of a woman who was unresponsive at a home in the 7600 block of Center Parkway just south of Tangerine Avenue in Sacramento’s Parkway neighborhood.
