More than 35,000 homes and businesses in New Jersey remained without power Tuesday morning, following a monster blizzard that buried the Garden State under more than a foot of snow. The number of power outages on Tuesday was down sharply from 24 hours earlier, when more than 130,000 outages were reported.
New York City, New Jersey, southern New England and coastal communities along the East Coast faced blizzard warnings and some of the biggest snowfall totals in years.
