Tropical Depression Two developed in the Caribbean as a tropical disturbance and the National Hurricane Center is tracking it near Mexico.

The National Hurricane Center has highlighted another area to watch for potential tropical development off the Southeast coast. The area includes the Gulf and Atlantic waters on either side of Florida.

The National Hurricane Center is watching an area of interest over Florida late week. An area of low pressure could develop from a remnant frontal boundary near or along the southeastern U.S. Atlantic and or Gulf coasts. Some gradual tropical or subtropical development could occur thereafter as it drifts slowly just off the U.S. coastline.
