The Miami Dolphins continued their commitment to the trenches by selecting Maryland defensive tackle Jordan Phillips with the No. 143 overall pick in Round 5 of the 2025 NFL draft. Phillips weighed in at 6'2, 312 pounds at the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine. In two seasons with the Terrapins, the lineman recorded 2.5 tackles for loss.

Maryland football defensive back Dante Trader Jr. was selected with the 19th pick in the fifth round — No. 155 overall — of the 2025 NFL Draft by the Miami Dolphins Saturday. He was the fourth Terp taken — third on Saturday — in this year’s draft.

In a small trade shortly before they were on the clock, the Vikings flipped No. 97 (third round) and No. 187 (sixth round) to the Houston Texans in exchange for No. 102 (third round) and No. 142 (fifth round). Though the move didn’t add more draft capital, it did help upgrade some draft positioning.

The Vikings added to their talented wide receiver room with the last pick on day two of the NFL Draft when they took Tai Felton out of Maryland.

The Vikings have closed out Day 2 of the 2025 NFL Draft by selecting a receiver. Minnesota picked Tai Felton out of Maryland with No. 102 overall to finish the third round. Felton, 22, played his entire collegiate career at Maryland.
