Both teams were off Thursday after earning much-needed wins Wednesday night. The Mets snapped a season-high three-game losing streak by beating the Boston Red Sox 5-1 while the Dodgers edged the Arizona Diamondbacks 3-1 in the rubber game of a three-game series.

Diamondbacks starter Brandon Pfaadt held the Dodgers to three runs on three hits through six innings in Los Angeles, and Arizona won the game 9-5.

Its Friday, May 23 and the Diamondbacks (26-24) are in St. Louis to take on the Cardinals (27-23). Zac Gallen is slated to take the mound for Arizona against Miles Mikolas for St. Louis.
