Liberal Wisconsin Court of Appeals Judge Chris Taylor entered the race for Wisconsin Supreme Court Monday, aiming to fill conservative Justice Rebecca Bradley’s current position.

In actuality, Taylor could elect a minor league assignment in lieu of being released, but that seems highly unlikely.
