Tennessee baseball names Josh Elander next head coach
Tennessee baseball named its replacement for head coach Tony Vitello on Saturday. Josh Elander will serve as the Vols' next baseball head coach. "The new era," Tennessee baseball announced. "Josh Elander takes the reigns as the 26th head coach in Tennessee baseball history."
Tennessee baseball was scheduled to hold its second and final fall intrasquad scrimmage on Oct. 26. The Vols' intrasquad scrimmage at First Horizon Park in Nashville, Tennessee was canceled Saturday due to expected inclement weather. Milwaukee's Triple-A affiliate Nashville Sounds play at First Horizon Park. First pitch was slated for 2 p.m. EDT.
