The travel ban – which covered Cape Cod and the South Coast of Massachusetts – is lifted as of noon on Tuesday, Feb. 24, according to Governor Maura Healey. While the formal ban, which could have come with a $500 fine is lifted, people are still urged to stay off the road as there are still icy, snow covered and slushy conditions.
