City and county officials in Yuba County are responding to recent citations centered around the fatal shooting of Marysville Police Department Officer Osmar Rodarte earlier this year.

The city of Marysville is facing more than $150,000 in citations from Cal/OSHA tied to the death of Officer Osmar Rodarte, who was killed in the line of duty earlier this year.

Cal/OSHA cited Marysville PD, saying Officer Osmar Rodarte's body armor wasn't long enough to protect his abdomen and there was insufficient PPE training.
