BOSTON — The Celtics blew a nine-point lead in the final 3:34 of regulation, falling to the Philadelphia 76ers 117-116 in their regular season opener at TD Garden.

It seemed like the Boston Celtics were going to cruise to a season-opening win when they took an 11-point lead into the fourth quarter of Wednesday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers.

"He obviously had a lot of really good bigs here, so he learned firsthand from them each and every day," said White.

Jaylen Brown played through a hamstring injury against the 76ers, and while he looked fine, it's something he'll have to manage for the next couple weeks.
