Philadelphia Eagles RB Saquon Barkley was Tom Brady's LFG Player of the Game after his performance against the Washington Commanders in the NFC Championship.

When Nick Foles showed up on Fox's broadcast of the NFC championship game, color commentator and former Patriots QB Tom Brady was ready with a joke.

The Eagles tried their own trick play — the “Philly Special” — in the fourth quarter when Foles caught a pass from Trey Burton for a touchdown. Philadelphia won, 41-33, despite Brady throwing for three touchdowns and 505 yards.

Tom Brady was just stating the obvious. As Saquon Barkley exploded for three touchdowns in Philadelphia’s NFC Championship win Sunday over the Commanders, Fox’s lead NFL analyst jabbed the Giants for letting their now-former running back leave in free agency.

Hurts wasn’t the only quarterback receiving praises. Burkhardt and Brady had a lot to say about Commanders rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels ahead of the matchup between division rivals. “He’s not playing like a rookie. He’s actually playing at an MVP-type level,” Brady said.
