Rangers forward Chris Kreider is back from an upper-body injury ahead of their matchup against the Avalanche on Tuesday.

The Rangers fell 5-4 to the Avalanche on Sunday. A goal with 14.7 seconds remaining. largely due to a lack of situation awareness creating the turnover and subsequent 3-on-1 breakout, gave Colorado the win.

Kreider had just helped Boston College to the National Championship and now he was thrust into the NHL's Eastern Conference Quarterfinals. It was the Rangers vs. Senators and Ottawa had now pushed the Blueshirts to a game seven. The series had featured outstanding defense and the deciding game was no different.
