Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel is cracking down on tardy players as several have been late to multiple team meetings.

The finale was marred by a surprising move by star wide receiver Tyreek Hill, who opted to leave the game in the fourth quarter and not return to action on the team's final two drives. Hill later hinted that he wanted to leave the Dolphins for good and McDaniel hinted that Hill quit on the team.

After the Miami Dolphins lost to the New York Jets 32-20 on Sunday afternoon and were officially eliminated from playoff contention, owner Stephen Ross issued a statement on the state of the team.
