Colorado, California and Washington state are leading a coalition of 13 states suing the Trump administration for withholding about $2.7 billion in federal energy funds.
It comes after Hurd was one of six Republicans who joined Democrats earlier this month to pass a resolution to repeal Trump's tariffs on Canada.
An average of recent polls from the New York Times found that Trump’s average approval rating as of Feb. 24 is 41%, with 56% disapproving of his performance. His approval rating has dropped over the past month.
