New Jersey Devils goaltender Jacob Markstrom will be out 4-6 weeks with a knee injury. The Swede was injured in a 5-1 win over the Bruins on Wednesday.

Morgan Geekie scored for the Bruins (23-20-6), who are 3-1-1 in their past five games. Jeremy Swayman allowed four goals on 29 shots in two periods. He was replaced by Joonas Korpisalo (five saves on six shots) at the start of the third period.

PHILADELPHIA — Flyers defenseman Nick Seeler put his head down like a linebacker about to make a vicious tackle when he leveled Devils forward Nathan Bastian on Monday night. Bastian lay on the ice after taking a blow to his head and eventually had to leave the game about midway through the second period.
