With Wednesday night's first round of the NBA Draft completed, the Minnesota Timberwolves will look to add more future talent in Thursday's second round. Their No. 17 pick resulted in Joan Beringer, a French center who could develop as Rudy Gobert's eventual replacement, or at least his backup.

While whoever is selected with the 31st overall pick in the 2025 NBA draft will end up donning a Minnesota Timberwolves hat no matter what, there seems to be a decent chance that they won't end up playing basketball in the Twin Cities.

The NBA draft resumes Thursday night with the Minnesota Timberwolves making the first selection of the second round.
