Warner Bros. and DC Films have scrapped development Luca Guadagnino's planned Sgt. Rock movie that was to star Colin Farrell.

It was also in the throes of casting, trying to line up actors who would play the men of Easy Company, the combat unit fighting Nazi forces in Europe.
