Barack Obama endorsed Rep. Mikie Sherrill for governor of New Jersey, part of a move to try and boost two high-profile Democrats in key elections next month.

Republican Jack Ciattarelli's campaign is asking the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission for an opinion on whether the costs of filing a lawsuit against his opponent, Democrat Mikie Sherrill,

“I think what New Jersey doesn’t know is much about his business — how he made his millions by working with some of the worst offenders and saying opioids were safe,” Sherrill said.
