As the federal crackdown on immigration continues​, Mayor Eric Adams has been summoned to Washington to testify on New York City's sanctuary city status.

NEW YORK — A key figure in Mayor Eric Adams’ social orbit has gone M.I.A., according to court records filed as part of a sprawling lawsuit over an alleged insurance fraud ring.

A Congressional committee has called on City Mayor Adams and the Democratic mayors of three other sanctuary cities to attend a hearing next month investigating their “obstructionist policies” and lack of cooperation with President Trump’s immigration enforcement policies.
