WINNIPEG — Connor Hellebuyck had a shutout with 21 saves for the Winnipeg Jets, who evened their best-of-7 series against the Dallas Stars with a 4-0 win in Game 2 of the Western Conference Second Round at Canada Life Centre on Friday. Dallas won Game 1, 3-2 on Wednesday.

The play before the rush was a Kyle Connor backhand pass into a seam that the Stars had picked off. Winnipeg fed the Stars’ transition multiple times in the second — Wyatt Johnston hit the post with a backhand deke that began with Mark Scheifele giving the puck away on a rush of his own.

The Jets blanked the Stars 4-0 in Game 2 to tie this series behind star goaltender Connor Hellebuyck. Hellebuyck stopped all 21 shots he faced in a return to form after his shaky Round 1 performance.
