Bell Canada users are reporting a widespread service disruption Wednesday morning. The website Downdetector shows a surge of outage reports from users starting around 9:00 a.m., with more than 130,000 complaints made. Bell, owned by BCE Inc., posted about the disruption on Facebook.
Bell Canada said on Wednesday it had rolled back an update and restored internet services after a nearly two-hour outage hit tens of thousands of customers in the provinces of Quebec and Ontario.
Bell internet is down in Ontario and Quebec, with 140K+ outage reports. Bell says it's working on a fix. Virgin Plus users also affected.
