The Stars escaped a series against Colorado by the skin of their teeth, thanks to some overtime heroics and one of the greatest revenge games in history by Rantanen. His greatness was enough to take Game 1 in Winnipeg, but the Jets are far too skilled of a group to relinquish leads every other night this series.

The Dallas Stars will face the Winnipeg Jets in Game 2 of this NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs matchup on Friday at the Canada Life Centre.
