Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Shemar Stewart is finally joining the team after becoming the last first-round pick to sign his rookie deal. The former Texas A&M standout and the Bengals agreed to terms on a four-year, fully guaranteed contract worth $18.97 million.

First-round pick pass rusher Shemar Stewart has officially signed his rookie contract after a controversial stalemate regarding specific language that could have voided guarantees. He had also refused to sign his practice waiver, meaning he held out of the Bengals’ OTAs, rookie minicamp, and the first few days of training camp.
