Sonos has reportedly paused its plans to get into the video streaming service. A device which was expected to launch this year has been shelved, according to a report in The Verge. Workers will be reassigned to other projects.

The device, codenamed Pinewood, was set to be the company’s major hardware launch in 2025.

Sonos has reportedly cancelled the rumored streaming video box in a bid to get the company back to its audio roots.
